
Taylor Bowl IX was held on Saturday, April 18 at 1pm in Scot Lanes. This annual contest between the Departments of Mathematical Sciences and Physics resulted in a resounding victory for Mathematical Sciences who had an average of 120.9 compared to Physics' 115.8. A comparison of medians also highlights this victory with Mathematical Sciences achieving a median of 120 to 114 for Physics. Congratulations go to Bryan Prusha (Physics) who had the highest score of 182. The top bowler for Mathematical Sciences was Mustafa Hasham, a computer science major, with a score of 171. This year's combined average of 118.47 was the highest ever. With this victory, the
Mathematical Sciences Department regains the display slide rule trophy, which Physics captured last year. The Mathematical Sciences Department has now won 7 of the 9 contests.
