2007/07/18 — IMPORTANT: Schedule Revision for the Domka Chamber Orchestra and Domka Orchestra. BOTH ensembles will perform on the same concert at 7:00p.m. in Gault Recital Hall in Scheide Music Center. (Previous information you encountered may have stated two separate concert times, 7:00p.m. and 7:30p.m..

2007/07/16 — IMPORTANT: Schedule revision for Hubbell Band. Please substitute the following:

6:15 Thursday - Students are to be in assigned areas in McGaw
6:30 Thursday - Final Concert in McGaw

NOTE THAT the changes above reflect a change from the original hot pink Hubbell Schedule. The information as stated on the sky blue information sheet is correct.

2007/07/15 — Auditions are over! Click here to see the results. Campers have already dined, rehearsed, and met their roomies. Tomorrow we'll start posting photos of all the fun on the site.

2007/07/14 — We've had our first staff meeting and are all eagerly awaiting meeting the campers tomorrow!

  • 2006/06/13 — The rest of the site has been updated and the new deadline for the application is June 23rd.

  • 2005/07/20 — 4:50p — There are a few days worth of photos up now. The staff list has been updated. The programs for Thursday's concerts will be up shortly.
  • 2005/06/21 — 12:00a — The new registration deadline is this Friday, June 24. The updated medical forms for this year have their own page. By the way, the brochure/application form is now available in a more bite-sized pdf file. The new email address for questions about the camp is woostermusiccamp@wooster.edu. The conductor bios have been updated.
  • 2005/02/12 — 10:03p — The first update of 2005. The brochure and application form is online. It is a 5MB download; we hope to make a more web-friendly version available. Here are the prescription medication request form, the self-medication permission form and the over-the-counter medication permission form from last year. The list of conductors can be found on the brochure. The conductors page on the website will be updated with this information soon. I also reset the front-page hit counter today.

  • 7/20/04 — 7:10p — There have been updates to the recreation page.

  • We have submitted the expected number of picnic guests to dining services, in compliance with their deadline, so we can no longer sell any tickets to the picnic. We apologize for any inconvenience.
  • 7/19/04 — The Thursday concert/check-out schedule is available.
  • 7/18/04 — 7:35p — The personnel lists for student ensembles are available.
  • 7/18/04 — Happy Registration Day! The flyer for the staff ensemble concerts (.pdf) is available. Both concerts are on Monday, July 19th, the first full day of camp. The staff orchestra concert is at 12:45 p.m. and the staff band concert is at 8:00 p.m. Both concerts are at McGaw Chapel.
  • The prescription medication request form, the self-medication permission form and the over-the-counter medication permission form are now available electronically.
  • Check out the poster for the Wooster Music Camp Family Picnic on Thursday.
  • The housing policies also have been updated.
  • 7/12/04 — The General Mailing was sent to all campers on June 30, 2004. It includes detailed information about all aspects of the camp as well as medical forms that need to be completed and brought to camp on Sunday, July 18th.
  • Camp Enrollment is now closed to everyone except tuba players.
  • Registration on Sunday, July 18th is scheduled from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Non-resident campers should wait until after 1:30 p.m. to register .
  • 6/10/04 — The deadline for applications has passed, but we are still accepting applications for all instruments except flute, oboe, and alto saxophone. Financial reminders have been mailed (on 6/10/04) to those who need to make a final payment by June 28th.
  • 6/7/04 — The camp is now 90% full. Registration is closed to alto saxophone players. Check out the updated 2004 staff list. The College has selected five dormitories for housing Music Camp students.
  • 4/26/04 — The camp is currently 50–60% full. The registration deadline is June 10th, although some instruments will become full sooner than others.
  • 7/21/03 — The webmaster for the week of camp has arrived and is working to keep the site as current as possible. New content will be linked from the camp homepage as soon as it is available.
  • 6/15/03 — The application deadline for the Wooster Music Camp has passed. General mailings will be on the way within the next two weeks to all confirmed campers.
  • 6/15/03 — We have hired a Web Administrator for the week of the Wooster Music Camp. He will be updating the website daily with photos, ensemble personnel, and other pertinent information. If you have any suggestions for updates during the week of camp, please email them to the webmaster.
