Music Faculty
Wooster's music faculty, nine full-time and eighteen adjunct professors,
representing a diversity of interests, maintain active careers of
distinguished professional achievement. Its faculty includes performers
who have recorded widely, appeared in such venues as Carnegie Hall,
Alice Tully Hall, the Kennedy Center, Carnegie Recital Hall, London's
Purcell Room, and Chicago's Orchestra Hall, and been heard on broadcasts
on National Public Radio and other networks; composers whose works
have received recognition in the United States and abroad; and scholars
whose work has yielded numerous published books, articles and editions.
All hold advanced degrees from leading American institutions. Some
have pursued study as well in European music centers such as Vienna,
London, Salzburg, Florence, and Cambridge.
