Jon Maffett

Adjunct Instructor, Bagpipes

Jon Maffett, bagpipes. Appointed 2002. Currently a member of The Toronto Police Grade 1 Pipe Band of Toronto, Ontario. Former pipe Sergeant of the North American Champion North Coast Grade 2 pipe band. Former member of Cyril Scott Pipe Band and McGregor Pipe Band. Member of Pipers and Pipe Band Society of Ontario, the Midwest Pipe Band Association, and The Eastern United States Pipe Band. Current competitive standing: Advanced in Piobaireachd, Grade I in Light Music. Also maintains a private bagpipe studio of approximately thirty students, as well as operating The Pipers Hut, a bagpipe retail outlet.
