Minor in Music
A student may declare a minor consisting of 6 courses in a departmental
or interdepartmental major or in other especially designated programs.
For a minor in music a student should take 6 courses in music;
2 of these should be in music theory, 2 in music history (these
may include 111 and other courses without prerequisite), and 2 in
music electives. A grade higher than D must be earned before a course
may count toward a minor.
