Music 170

Class Voice

Study and development of basic individual vocal technique. Instruction in the International Phonetic Alphabet and its application to singing. Designed for Music Education and Music Therapy students. Two class hours per week. One-fourth course credit. Required of all B.Mus.Ed. majors whose primary performance area is instrumental. Prerequisite: Music 102 or permission of the instructor. Alternate years. Spring 2008.

Students are expected to practice 30-45 minutes per day for courses 170-178 and 372.
