Class Woodwind Instruments I: Flute
and Clarinet
Study of the mechanics of playing and instructional materials and
procedures relative to woodwind instruments of the orchestra and
band. One class hour per week for each of two semesters. One-fourth
course credit. Both Music 175 and 176 are required of B.Mus.Ed.
(Public School Teaching) majors. B.Mus.Ed. (Music Therapy) majors
must complete Music 175. Alternate years.
Students are expected to practice 30-45 minutes per day for courses
170-178 and 372.
