Introduction to Music Technology
Topics may include the MIDI electronic studio; computer applications
in music including music notation, music education and music theory
software, and musicological research; recording technology; and
other appropriate technological developments. Assignments will be
tailored insofar as possible to individual students' needs and interests.
Required of all B.Mus. and B.Mus.Ed. majors. Prerequisite: Music
101 or permission of the instructor. One-half course credit.
Annually. Fall and Spring.
