Music Therapy in Psychiatry and Rehabilitation
Clinical methods as they relate to working with psychiatric, elderly,
medical, head-injured, corrections, and addiction clients. Includes
a review of behavioral characteristics, treatment adaptations, current
therapeutic intervention models, goals and objectives, and applicable
resources. Required of all B.Mus.Ed. (Music Therapy) majors. Prerequisite:
Music 191.
