Music Therapy with the Developmentally
Disabled
Clinical practice as it relates to working with mentally retarded,
autistic, sensory impaired, physically challenged, and learning-disabled
clients. Includes review of behavioral characteristics, treatment
considerations, current therapeutic intervention models, goals and
objectives, and current literature. Required of all B.Mus.Ed. (Music
Therapy) majors. Prerequisite: Music 191. Annually. Spring.
