Julia Stuneck
Adjunct Instructor, Bassoon
Julia Stuneck, bassoon. Appointed 2000. B.Mus., Bassoon Performance,
Cleveland Institute of Music, 1985; M.A., Music Education, Case
Western Reserve University, 1987. Has performed as bassoonist with
Akron Symphony, Canton Symphony, Erie Chamber Orchestra, Erie Philhar-monic,
Lyric Opera Cleveland, and Youngstown Symphony. Co-principal bassoonist
of Lakeside Summer Symphony. Director of Music Ministries at United
Methodist Church, Stow, Ohio. Also teaches preschool music. Prior
teaching experience at University of Akron , Saint Louis School
in Cleveland Heights, other parochial schools in the Greater Cleveland
area, Cleveland Heights High School, and the Cleveland Music School
Settlement.
