Wooster Dance Company Presents Annual Spring Concert April 17-19Nightly performances in Freedlander Theatre feature faculty, student, and guest artists
WOOSTER, Ohio - The Wooster Dance Company will present its annual Spring Concert April 17-19 at The College of Wooster's Freedlander Theatre (329 E. University St.), beginning at 8:15 p.m. each evening. Tickets, which go on sale at the Freedlander box office on April 7, are $9 for general admission and $6 for senior citizens, faculty, staff, and non-Wooster students. College of Wooster students will receive one free ticket with their COW Card. Directed by Kim Tritt, the concert will showcase the work of faculty and students as well as guest artist Rhiannon Fink, a 2000 Wooster graduate who will include a live artist painting during her piece. Tritt, who also choreographed a piece for the concert, will present "Tribute to the Sun." In addition, eight student choreographers will be featured: seniors Elise Pelligra, Lucy Mallett, Kelly Knapp, and Margaret Shepherd; juniors Jesse Hoselton and Alex Hribar; sophomore Kathleen Metcalfe; and first-year Lindsay Phillips. The concert is sponsored by the Department of Theatre with support from the Student Government Association. For more information and to reserve tickets, please call 330-263-2241. All unpaid reserved tickets must be picked up from the box office no less than 30 minutes prior to performance. |
