WOOSTER, Ohio - Lowry Center will be transformed into a Spring Festival with flowers, balloons, and music by the "Springtime Trio," featuring renowned harpist Wendy Barlow, when The College of Wooster hosts the 32nd annual Mayfest Benefit Brunch on Sunday, May 18, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

A delicious buffet with a variety of meat and vegetarian dishes, as well as a large selection of desserts and beverages will be offered. Tickets, which can be purchased on campus at the Florence O. Wilson Bookstore or off campus at Buehler's Milltown store, are $25 for adults and $10 for children ages 7-10. Children 6 years of age and under are free.

The Women's Advisory Board is an association of women who are interested in and supportive of The College of Wooster, particularly in providing academic scholarships for students with a high need and a worthy grade point average. The Board was founded in 1892, and the local committee has been active since 1895. The benefit brunch has been the Board's chief fundraising event since 1975, but the organization has been demonstrating its commitment to higher education by supporting deserving students at The College of Wooster through academic scholarships and awards for 115 years. All profits from the brunch go to these scholarships.
