WOOSTER, Ohio - Ghanaian musician Divine Gbagbo will be featured when The College of Wooster Art Museum presents "Music in the Galleries" on Thursday, March 1, at 7 p.m. The performance, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the museum galleries located in the Ebert Art Center (1220 Beall Ave.). Gbagbo will present African music and drumming in conjunction with the current exhibition, "The Art of Africa: Objects from the Collection of Warren Robbins," which includes sculpture, textiles, beaded clothing, and jewelry representing nearly 30 cultures of sub-Saharan Africa on display through March 4.

Gbagbo, who teaches music at Mawuko Girls' School in Ho, Ghana, holds a M. In Ghana, Gbagbo coordinates a summer program for visiting students and faculty from Ohio State, teaching drumming, dancing, and the local Ewe language.
