College Mourns the Passing of Jody Smith

Served for 20 years in Lowry and transportation department

WOOSTER, Ohio, Jan. 17, 2011 – The College of Wooster notes with sadness the passing of JoAnn K. (Jody) Smith on Jan. 13. Smith worked at the college from 1979 until her retirement in 1999, first as a facilities coordinator in Lowry Center and later in the transportation department. She was 75.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 22, at 11 a.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 29 E. Main St., in Dalton. Friends may call on Friday, Jan. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m.
