WOOSTER, Ohio, March 16, 2011 - Wooster takes on Williams in
a Div. III Final Four match up, Friday at 6 p.m. in Salem, Virginia. There’s no
TV broadcast, but the NCAA is providing a live web stream, and The College of
Wooster will show it on a big screen in Kittredge Hall, on Wayne Ave. just east
of Beall Ave. All Fighting Scots fans from campus and the community are invited
to come share the excitement.
The doors open at 5 p.m. Friday, and we’ll air both games:
Wooster vs. Williams at 6 p.m., followed by Middlebury vs. St. Thomas at 8 p.m.
We’ll do it again on Saturday for the championship game, with doors opening at
2:30 p.m. for the 3:30 p.m. tip off.
This is a free, family-friendly event: bring blankets and
claim your space on the floor. (Seating will be available, too.) Final Four t-shirts
will be available to purchase.
Stop by Mom’s Truck Stop in Lowry Center before the game for
a Slam Dunk Special: a half-dozen boneless wings, your choice of dipping sauce,
fries or a salad, plus a fountain drink, all for $3.99. Served from 4 to 7 p.m.
Friday.
If you can’t make it to campus, or simply prefer to watch
the game in the comfort of your own home, the NCAA will post the link to the
live web stream here.
