The People's Choice Symphony

(What do you want to hear?)

March 15, 2013 by Jeffrey Lindberg

Jeff Lindberg, conductor of The Wooster Symphony Orchestra and professor of music at The College of Wooster, couldn’t decide which symphony to perform on the April concert. So he decided to ask for nominations and let music lovers take a vote.

And the nominations are: Copland’s Appalachian Spring, Dvorak’s New World Symphony (Symphony No. 9), Grechaninov's Symphony No. 1, Liszt's Les Preludes, Mozart's, Jupiter Symphony (Symphony No. 41), Sibelius' Symphony No. 6, and Wagner's Sigfried Idyll.

Vote now!

Voting concludes Thurs., March 21, 5:00 p.m. Regardless of the winner, plan on attending the concert Friday, April 19 at 7:30 p.m. and April 21, 4:00 p.m.
