College of Wooster Gospel Choir to Perform in Concert on Feb. 23

Free public performance scheduled for 2:30 p.m. in Gault Recital Hall of Scheide Music Center

WOOSTER, Ohio — The College of Wooster Gospel Choir will present a concert on Sunday, Feb. 23, in Gault Recital Hall of Scheide Music Center (525 E. University St.) at 2:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

The program includes Kurt Carr's "In the Sanctuary," Thomas Whitfield's "Precious Jesus," Mark Hubbard's "King Jesus is Listening," and John P. Kee's "Clap Your Hands." Also featured will be Hezekiah Walker's "Grateful," Jeffrey LaValley's "Revelation 19," and Joe Pace's "Worship Medley," as well as "Marvelous Things," composed by an unknown author.

The College of Wooster Gospel Choir is directed by Brandon Scarborough, and made up of students and members of the community. The sopranos for the upcoming concert are Haley Austin, Kayon Hall, Renee Schilling, Margot Yoder, and Amanda Nelson. Singing tenor will be Tracy Jackson, Ben Framstad, Cullen Dolson, Ethan Flack, Tatyana Colbert, and Marteze Hammonds. The alto section will consist of Joyce Lee, Kenneth Perry Jr., Chantel Massey, LaTricia Mitchell, Sarah McCrea, Tiara Patton, Chelsea Silva, Ashley Wagner, and Zilu Wang.
