Percussion Ensemble to Present Free Public Concert on Saturday Night

Performance to be held in Gault Recital Hall of Scheide Music Center beginning at 7:30 p.m.

WOOSTER, Ohio, — The College of Wooster's Percussion Ensemble will present a mix of traditional and contemporary selections at a free public concert on Saturday (Nov. 15) at 7:30 p.m. in Gault Recital Hall of Scheide Music Center (525 E. University St.).

Directed by Thomas Roblee, the ensemble consists of seniors Andrew Johnson, Christopher Scimecca, and Joseph Smith; juniors Joseph Caffrey, Mitchell Ryan and Bridget Slone; and first-years Christopher Fried, Christopher Menolasino, Rose Sliter, and Nicklaus Wilcher.

Saturday night's performance will feature Daniel Adams' "Talea," Nebojsa Zivkovic's "Trio Per Uno," and Emmanuel Sejourne's "Vous Avez Du Feu," which will be performed in the dark with the only illumination provided by lighters.

Also on the program are William Russell's "Three-Dance Movements," an arrangement of "Rudimental Drumming" by George Bruce and Dan Emmett, and Bob Becker's arrangement of George Hamilton Green's "Ragtime Robin" with a xylophone solo by Christopher Scimecca.
