Global Investment Strategist Thomas Russo to Speak at Wilson Lecture
Free public event scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 22, at The College of Wooster’s Scot Center
WOOSTER, Ohio — Thomas Russo, managing member of Gardner, Russo, and Gardner, will present "Global Value Equity Investing" on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at The College of Wooster. His talk, which is part of the James R. Wilson lecture series, begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Wilson Governance Room in the lower level of the Scot Center (1267 Beall Ave.). Admission is free and open to the public.
Russo, who works with companies that have strong global brands and significant growth potential in international markets, will share his insights on global value investing at the lecture. His skillful strategies have produced market-beating returns over an extended period of time with total investments in excess of $6 billion.
The James R. Wilson Lecture Series in Business Economics brings business and financial leaders to Wooster's campus to share their insights with students, faculty, and the broader community. The series is supported by the James R. Wilson Fund for Business Economics, which was established in 2001 through a gift from James R. and Linda R. Wilson. Previous speakers in the Wilson Lecture Series include Howard Putnam, CEO of Southwest Airlines; Donald Kohn, vice chairman of the Federal Reserve; Katharine Lee Reid, former director of The Cleveland Museum of Art; and Craig Barrett, CEO of Intel.
