Young Choreographers Showcase Their Talents at Fall Dance Concert

Performances scheduled for Nov. 19-21 at The College of Wooster

WOOSTER, Ohio ­– Creative young choreographers will showcase their talents when The College of Wooster’s Department of Theatre and Dance presents its annual Fall Dance Concert Nov. 19-21 in the round in Freedlander Theatre (329 E. University St.). Performances, which are free and open to the public, begin at 7:30 p.m. each evening, but seating is limited so advanced reservations are suggested. All tickets are general admission.

Directed by Kim Tritt, professor of theatre and dance, this year's concert features nine student choreographers, including seniors Bridget Brately, Emily Baird, and Emi Donato. Also participating are juniors Alanna Edmonds and Maria Witt, along with sophomores Meredith Bruch, Brigitte Galauner, Kimi McBryde, and Jena Styka.

Dale Seeds, professor of theatre and dance, will supervise a group of student lighting designers, which consists of Donato, Baird, and Bruch as well as senior Abby Helvering, and juniors Tom Dickinson, Scott Wagner, and Quy Thi Ngoc Nguyen.

Also assisting with the production will be Costume Designer Charlene Gross, Technical Director Mike Schafer, and Sound Designer Chuck Findley.
