WOOSTER, Ohio — The College of Wooster Libraries are once again celebrating the spirit of the season by sponsoring their annual Giving Tree to provide new books for children and teens, and non-perishable food items for needy families in the area.

The books will be collected between now and Dec.3, and the food items will be collected until Dec.18. Donations can be placed under the tree near the Gault Circulation Desk in Andews/Gault Library (1140 Beall Ave.). Those who contribute will be invited to hang an ornament on the Giving Tree. All items will be delivered to People to People Ministries and distributed in time for Christmas.

“This is the 18th year for the Giving Tree,” said Julia Gustafson, research and outreach librarian at Wooster. “We are happy to continue the tradition of providing books and food items to families in need through People to People Ministries.”
