Residence Halls

Luce Hall

Campus Accommodations

Campus accommodations are available from mid May through the end of July. Guests stay in our residence hall. Most residence halls are in the traditional styles with community restrooms. Gault Manor and Luce Hall contain suites with air-conditioned accommodations and semi private bath. The rates for Gault Manor and Luc Hall tend to be higher.

Sleeping Rooms

Most sleeping rooms in the residence halls are double occupancy, although there are a limited number of single occupancy rooms. Each campus room includes a twin-size bed, desk, chair, dresser, and closet for each occupant. We recommend that you provide your own sheets, pillow, pillowcase, blanket or bedspread, towels, washcloths and toiletry items. Please note that our twin beds take extra long fitted sheets.

Telecommunications

There are no phones in the sleeping rooms.

Wireless and Ethernet Internet access can be arranged through the Summer Conference Office in advance. All residence hall rooms are wired for internet access. Request internet access. Please note that this access is only given to camp/conference directors and staff members.

Free public Internet Service is available at Wired Scot in the lower level of Lowry Center. The computer stations in the Wired Scot are available to guests to check e-mail or send a quick note home. The Wired Scot is not intended for extended use or gaming.

Housekeeping

During a group's stay, Residential Custodial Services provides service on a regular basis in common areas only (hall restrooms, hallways, stairways, lounges, kitchenettes, etc.).
Custodial staff will not enter occupied sleeping rooms until check-out is complete, unless special arrangements are made in advance. Custodial staff normally clean occupied guest buildings between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., beginning mainly in public areas such as lounges, then completing restrooms and hallways. If a group would like an earlier cleaning, the staff begins work at 6 a.m. and can help meet that group's needs.

What to Bring:

Following are suggestions that may make your overnight stay more enjoyable:

  • Alarm Clock (wake-up calls are not provided)
  • Clothes Hangers
  • Personal Hygiene Supplies (shower slippers, soap, shampoo, toothbrush, etc.)
  • Pillows, sheets, blankets, towels, etc. (if your group has not ordered linen service)
  • Fan

Linens

Linen packages are available to conference groups utilizing campus accommodations. The package includes bed linens: pillows, pillowcase, sheets, blanket, towels and washcloths. Please contact the Summer Conference Office in advance for pricing information and to place order.
