CDGE Theme for 2013-2014: Civil Rights Legacies

September

Hispanic Heritage Month - Projecto Latino, in partnership with the CDGE, created a display an Art Wall Display celebrating Hispanic Heritage month from September 22-26, 2013. They highlighted the 20 year anniversary of Cesar Chavez’ death, along with information about other notable Latin American and Hispanic figures, and the independence wars of Latin America. In an associated event, the College of Wooster Library hosted a display of books celebrating and highlighting various Latin American figures – all of which are available for check out.
