During your period of OPT, your immigration status remains that of an F-1 student. In order to remain in good standing, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP), located within the Department of Homeland Security, requires that you report the following information to Wooster:

If you are currently unemployed, indicate this in your reply. Please note: F-1 students on post-completion OPT may not accrue an aggregate of more than 90 days of unemployment during the 12-month period of OPT. F-1 students in STEM fields (Sciences, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) who are granted a 17-month extension for OPT may not accrue an aggregate of more than 120 days of unemployment during the 29-month OPT period.
