Naomi Robertson

Jamaica
Psychology Major and Philosophy Minor

I chose to attend the College of Wooster because it offered a lucrative scholarship to attend. I would say that “independent, cultural, and community,” are the three words that best describe the College of Wooster. I am involved in the Psychology Club, the Judicial Board, Women of Images, International Student Association, and the Rotaract Club. I am also a residential assistant. My favorite Wooster memory so far is filling Kauke arch with snow my first-year. I really appreciate the newfound family I have accumulated here as well as the challenge presented by Wooster academics. I have found that since my time at Wooster, I have a better understanding of myself and of my goals.

Wooster has provided me with opportunities to expand my life experiences with their WooCorps summer employment program, and Sophomore Research Program in the Psychology Department. I want people to know that Wooster is not only a place to have fun but it is A LOT of work; Wooster will be the best years of your young adult life. The Wooster Experience has made me realize that I have grown into myself; you cannot take for granted your time at Wooster. It flies by before you know it. If you are worried about financing your Wooster education, don’t worry. Wooster offers many opportunities for special scholarships, work study, paid internships, and research positions…plus, a Wooster degree is beneficial to your post-graduate salary.
