Job Description
One-Year visiting position beginning Fall 2013. Assistant professor or instructor One-Year visiting position beginning Fall 2013. Assistant professor or instructor specializing in adolescent and young adult and middle childhood (grades 5-12) pedagogy. Responsibilities include teaching content methodology courses, supervising field and student teaching, and academic advising. Position entails teaching courses in AYA Introductory and Advanced Methodology and Curriculum Studies, and Middle Childhood Introductory courses. Active contribution to the department’s accreditation process is also expected. Three years of teaching experience in grades 7-12 is required. Teaching licensure/certification in social studies, mathematics, or language arts is preferred. Ph.D. or Ed.D preferred.
