Job Description
The Department of Psychology invites applications for two (2) one-year visiting positions beginning August 2013. For the first position, we seek a neuroscientist to supervise student research projects that investigate rodent behavior. Teaching responsibilities may include Introductory Psychology, Human Neuropsychology, Introduction to Neuroscience, Behavioral Neuroscience, and courses in the candidate’s specialty. Area of specialty for the second position is open. However, the ability to supervise student research is essential. Teaching responsibilities may include Introduction to Psychology and courses in the candidate’s area of expertise. All students at the College of Wooster complete a mentored senior research project. Thus, we seek committed teacher-scholars with demonstrated excellence in teaching and experience supervising undergraduate research. Ph.D. or ABD required.
Candidates should send a letter of application, curriculum vitae, graduate transcripts, statements of teaching and research interest, and arrange to have three letters of recommendation sent to Psychology.
