Job Description
The Department of Sociology and Anthropology invites applications for a two-year, full-time position as visiting assistant professor of sociology beginning 2013-2014. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach introductory sociology, research methods, urban sociology, and at least one of the following: inequality, race and ethnicity, or sociology of gender. The teaching load is 3-3 and may include advising senior Independent Study projects. A Ph.D. in sociology and teaching experience are desirable.
