Job Description
The Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program and the Department of Biology invite applications for a joint one-year visiting assistant professor of Biology and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies to begin in August 2013. We are seeking a biologist with training in feminist studies. The successful candidate will teach Introductory Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, Introductory Biology, upper-level Animal Behavior with Lab, an upper-level WGSS course, and advise Senior Independent Study projects in both departments. Candidates should hold a PhD, and prior teaching is desirable.

A committee member will be at the National Women’s Studies Association meetings in Oakland, November 9-11, 2012 to talk with interested applicants.
