Job Description

The Learning Center at The College of Wooster invites applications for the position of Learning Consultant . The Learning Consultant will be responsible for providing students with strategies for improved academic management and performance, and coordinating services and maintaining records for students with documented accommodation needs. The Learning Consultant will also develop and present workshops/information sessions and assist with the Peer Tutor program, Academic Focus and other Learning Center coordinated programs.

A successful candidate will have a Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. A thorough understanding and appreciation for the selective, residential liberal arts experience. Ability to communicate effectively and positively with a diverse student population. Excellent written and organizational skills, strong computer skills, sound judgment, strong initiative, creativity, and attention to detail. This is a ten month, full-time position.
