Job Description
The College of Wooster, a national liberal arts institution located in northeast Ohio, invites applications for the full-time position of Director of Longbrake Student Wellness Center.
The Director of Longbrake Student Wellness Center is responsible for improving current wellness education programs, developing additional wellness education programs, services, resources and working with student groups to promote healthy living practices. The Director also fulfills the responsibility for overseeing the overall daily operation of the Longbrake Student Wellness Center. The Director, in addition, coordinates health services and counseling services provided for The College of Wooster student population.
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in public health or other related fields preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education. College Health Certification preferred along with 8 to 10 years of College Health experience and 5 to 8 years of leadership experience. Qualified applicants will also have experience with residential, liberal arts, traditional-aged college student needs and experience with electronic patient billing. Strong interpersonal skills with well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written are required. This is a full time salaried position offering a competitive wage and benefit package.
