Job Description

Full-time position performing general carpentry work in maintenance repair on the campus properties. Duties include additions, alterations, and new construction of buildings/equipment. Repairs damaged materials and furnishings. Installs new equipment and accessory items in campus buildings. Seasonal work includes general preparation for special College events.

Qualified applicants will have certification from technical school in carpentry and at least five years related experience, or demonstrated equivalent. Must have valid Ohio driver’s license and working knowledge of local building codes. Must be skilled in the trade, able to work from blueprints, and have the ability to use power machinery and hand tools. Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions. Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to work as part of the Service Center team. This is a year-around position offering a competitive benefits package.
