Job Description
Be a goodwill ambassador and personal representative for The College of Wooster. We'll train you to be a professional fundraiser.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Make telephone calls to alumni, friends and parents of the College to educate them about The Wooster Fund.
- Represent the College in discussing issues that concern the alumna/us or friend and answer questions about the College.
- Set the size of gift to be asked for and request this gift to the College.
- Maintain records of your calls each evening.
- Follow all other procedures and guidelines in the training manual.
- Responsible for any and all absences -must find a substitute and inform a supervisor.
- All donor information is to remain confidential, and neither the prospect’s phonathon card nor discussion of the call is permitted outside the phonathon call center.
- Must work a minimum of 4-hours per week and can work up to 10-hours per week.
- Ideal candidate will be near campus with the ability to work through May and June to assist with pledge fulfillment.
