Web Communications
Job Description
Assists the department of web communication with day-to-day web and multimedia projects.
Duties may include the following, but not limited to:
- Optimize and format images
- Optimize and post PDF’s
- Answer questions and address requests from campus web editors
- Edit web content in content management system
- Audit web content and media files
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong organization, customer service, and written/oral communication skills
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Programming knowledge – HTML or other programming languages
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Web experience preferred
- Photography and social media experience a plus
The Web Communication dept. is switching to a new Content Management System this summer and we need a student who can easily comprehend the variety of job responsibilities assigned to them. This is a great learning opportunity with an added benefit of joining the Web Communication team permanently when school starts in the fall!
