Q. How do I find out about student organizations?

Answer: Come to Scot Spirit Day, Friday, August 29, at 4 p.m. outside Lowry Center. Representatives from most student organizations will be there showcasing their groups.

Q. How do I get involved in marching band?

Answer: If you have indicated an interest in instrumental music, you will be contacted with details about the band camp. If you have not previously expressed an interest, you can e-mail the director, Nancy Ditmer, at scotband@wooster.edu.

Q. How do I get involved in a varsity sport?

Answer: If you want to try out for a team, you can contact the coach of that sport in advance by going to the athletic Web site and sending an e-mail to the coach of that sport.

Q. What about club sports and intramurals?

Answer: Yes, Wooster has club and intramural sports. Announcements will be made during the first few weeks of school about how to be a part of a team or you can refer to the Web site at http://athletics.wooster.edu/intramurals/.
