Students
who spend time in philosophy find that the skills
they acquire in conceptual thinking, careful reading
of texts, and rational argumentation are excellent
preparation for professional or graduate studies. Philosophy alum have gone on to law school,
theological seminary, public policy, social
work and teaching at all levels. Recently, our
students have also gone on to philosophy graduate
studies at Princeton University, Boston University,
Ohio State, The University of Oregon, The University
of Nebraska, Duke University, and Duquesne University.
