Students in Pam Frese's "Magic, Witchcraft,
and Religion" class celebrated “Day
of the Dead” (Nov.
1-2) by decorating the Lowry Center stairwell with a variety of
artifacts and mementos. Originating in Mexico, “Day
of the Dead” is
an annual celebration in which the spirits of the dearly departed
are believed to return and mingle with the living.
