My son Caleb ("Cubby") is 22 and graduated from Smithville High School in 2004 and THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY in 2008. He has a job at Collier Well Equipment and Supply. I'm not sure what he does, but he goes there every day.

My son Gabe is 26 and graduated from THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. He is a veterinarian at the Orrville Veterinary Clinic.

Best quote: "Hey Mom, we've got 10 heifers in heat right now, this is unprecedented!" (arms waving wildly)

Gabe: I bred a cow today that wasn't even in heat.
Mom: Why did you do that? Wasn't that a waste of frozen sperm?
Gabe: Yeah, but I just felt like doing it.

Randy My husband Randy, doing what he does best. Randy is an electrician at The College of Wooster and reads the National Electric Code for fun.

My mom was born Margaret Alexander to Merle and Mary Rutter Alexander in 1923. She grew up on a farm in Blachleyville, served in WWII, and raised three children: me, my sister Jody, and my brother David. I turned out the best. Mom turned 84 on December 8 of last year.

My dad George Cox was born March 14, 1920 to Edward and Anna Elizabeth McCutcheon Cox in New Concord, Ohio. He served in the US Navy during World War II and was a Pearl Harbor survivor. He worked for 40+ years at Gerstenslagers in Wooster, and also worked a second job at a Sohio gas station. Before becoming homebound, he had his own bar stool at Leroy's Place on Palmer Street in Wooster. Dad passed away on March 5, 2005. I miss him every minute of every day.
