II. Suggested Course Requirement Schedule at The College of Wooster.
In order to be optimally prepared to take the MCAT, DAT, or GRE, and to apply to medical, dental, or veterinary school, the following course schedule is strongly recommended for pre-health students. Although this is a demanding schedule during the first two years at Wooster, it is necessary in order to prepare well for the admissions tests for medical, dental, and veterinary schools.
· First Year: Intro. Chem. 111 and 112, Intro Bio. 210 and 220, and Mathematics 101 or 111.
· Sophomore Year: Organic Chem. 211 and 212, and Physics 101 and 102
(or Physics 203 and 204). Note: the physics section of the MCAT is not calculus-based, therefore Physics 203 and 204 are not necessary.
