Medical Coverage

Students are responsible for their own medical expenses and must have medical insurance when they arrive in Spain. Students are required to ascertain that their coverage extends to foreign travel and, if it does not, make the appropriate arrangements to extend coverage for the period of their stay in Spain. Normally, students must pay for medical services at the time of treatment, and may later seek reimbursement from their insurance company when they return to the U.S. The PRESHCO staff in Córdoba can assist students in locating doctors and obtaining needed medical care.
