PSYCHOLOGY DEPARTMENT

College Requirements: The College requires that a student complete three units of Independent Study as part of the total number of courses required for graduation: one course of Independent Study (401) and two courses of I.S. Thesis (451 and 452). A student may enroll in a maximum of five I.S. courses, two of which are electives (402 and 403).

Exceptions to this regulation will be rare and must be approved in writing by the Dean of the Faculty prior to registration. The maximum course load permitted while enrolled in I.S. 451 and 452 is 4 1/4 course credits.
