Advisor Student Mentoring Process

An image of the Hindu Goddess Durga Regular meetings with your advisor is a central feature of the I.S. project. Plan to meet with your advisor for 30 to 60 minutes each week. Each faculty member will keep you posted on his/her evaluation of your progress on the I.S. project, through means such as weekly I.S. progress reports, e-mail reports, comments on your drafts, conversations, etc. For seniors, I.S. research is normally completed in the Fall term, with the bulk of a student's time devoted to writing in Spring term.
