Our mission in Residence Life at the College of Wooster is to foster individual development and evoke responsibility within our campus community by providing opportunities for meaningful interaction and perspective-taking. As part of this mission, it is the goal of the Residence Life Custodial Team to provide a clean, safe and sanitary environment for the campus community. In the residential buildings during the school year this includes cleaning common areas such as hallways, restrooms, lounges, kitchens and stairwells. During the summer months it also includes the cleaning of student rooms for various guests and preparing for the start of the next school year.

The proper cleaning, performed in a timely manner, helps provide a healthier living environment, protects the monetary investment of the campus facilities and helps promote a positive image for The College of Wooster. A knowledgeable, devoted staff, internationally certified supervision and regular safety and product training for all are just a few of the ways we assure current and up to date service with the best products and procedures for cleaning in today's ever-changing world.

Every effort is made to assure that this service is provided in a cost-effective and efficient manner while providing excellent customer service. As part of the Residence Life building staff, you will recognize a custodian on your hall by his or her shirt with the College logo, their friendly, helpful manner or simply because you are likely to see that same familiar face each day in your living space. We're here to help when you need a light bulb, trash liners, etc. Just ask!
