Housing Options

Welcome to Wooster and to campus housing. Nearly all upper-class students and all first-year students, with exception of those who live at home, live on campus and share in a residential experience. Programming includes a full range of educational and social activities. In addition to our programs, we provide trained Residential Life Staff, resident assistants and residence directors, who are available to assist you in a number of ways. We also offer a self-governance system of programs boards which can provide you with the opportunity to shape the community in which you live and to plan social and/or educational programs for members of your building.

There is a wide variety of housing options available, all of which are described on these web pages. No matter in which hall or house you live, the following facilities are available:

  • public lounges
  • recreational space
  • laundry room

Most rooms are double occupancy, although triple occupancy rooms may be assigned. Each room is furnished with beds, desks, closets, dressers, desk chairs and bookcases. For your comfort or to personalize your space you may want to bring linens, posters, plants, stereos and a small refrigerator. Please do not bring pets, candles, waterbeds, microwaves, firearms, space heaters, toaster ovens, flammable items and air conditioners.
