Think nothing fun ever happens on campus? Think there's nothing to do on weekends?
You can change that! Late Night Activities is looking for a crew to help with events next year! This crew is a programming group that plans and implements events and activities both on and off-campus. Typically these events are held on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings. This is a great leadership opportunity that will allow you to decide what's happening on campus!
Wonder what types of things Late Night has been doing? Here are some examples of the types of events we host and what we’ve done in the recent past:
Craft Nights
Monthly craft nights are typically held in Lowry Lounge. Examples: Brick Painting, door hangers, Halloween crafts, holiday cards, winter crafts, Valentine's, buttons, magnets.
Games and Tournaments
Board game nights, poker tournaments, euchre tournaments, BINGO, and other games and tournaments as desired.
Off-Campus Events
Acres of Fun, ice skating, shopping, shuttles to North End, Wooster Ethnic Fair Outdoor Events: Bonfires, recess, flag football, Frisbee golf, outdoor movies on the big screen, etc...
Performances
Helps secure performers for Rock & Bowl, Homecoming Bonfire, Holiday Bash, I.S. Bonfire, Mr. Wooster and other such events where performers are involved.
Special Events
Murder Mystery, Pep Rallies, Valentine's Chocolate Fountain in Scot Lanes, I.S. Week activities, co-sponsored events, International Film Nights, etc…
Expectations:
- Attend bi-weekly (every other week) Late Night Activities Meetings.
- Note: We will not meet during Reading Days, Finals Week or during scheduled breaks as listed on the academic calendar.
- Schedule and attend individual meetings with the Late Night Activities Advisor as necessary.
- Sign-up to attend/host/staff Late Night Activities Events.
- Communicate with the Late Night Activities Advisor and fellow Late Night Activities members regularly.
- Represent The College of Wooster and Late Night Activities in a positive manner at all times.
Late Night Activities Students will…

- Learn to work within and manage a budget
- Meet new people, build relationships and network with other students and members of the College Staff
- Collaborate with other student groups, offices and departments
