Hillel
Wooster Hillel is the local affiliate of Hillel, the national Jewish campus cultural, religious, social, and educational organization. It welcomes all Wooster students to its activities. The group gathers on Shabbat evenings either for a service and dinner or some cultural event such as a film or Israeli dancing. It also celebrates Jewish holidays during the academic year, either on campus or together with the local synagogue, and offers a variety of speakers and other activities, often co-sponsored with other student groups, academic departments, or the Office of Interfaith Campus Ministries. The campus rabbi also leads a weekly Torah discussion.
