Sapere Aude (The Wooster Journal of Philosophical Inquiry) is an undergraduate journal for which student editors select and publish scholarly papers in the subject of philosophy. The journal staff chooses papers based on the clarity of the author’s intent, originality, quality of research, and depth of philosophical analysis. Sapere Aude seeks and publishes papers from both Wooster students and students at other accredited undergraduate institutions. The peer review process exposes Wooster students to work being done in the broader philosophical community and is a lot fun!
To create an undergraduate journal for which student editors select and publish scholarly papers in the subject of philosophy. The journal will consider papers based on the clarity of the author’s intent, originality, quality of research, and depth of philosophical analysis. This journal will seek and publish papers from both Wooster students and students at other accredited institutions. The peer review process will expose Wooster students to work being done in the broader philosophical community as well as promote the intellectual reputation of the college.
