Effie’s Players

Effie’s Players is a student-run theatre group. It was formed to complement the efforts of the theatre department, and to provide students additional opportunities to participate in all aspects of theatrical production, from directing to lighting to costume design. We generally produce one show or musical a year, along with a Ten-Minute Play Festival and the 24-Hour Plays (a festival where short one-acts are written, directed, memorized, and performed in a 24 hour period). The group is committed to creating excellent theater, and is open to all people who love the stage, whether they are majors or not.
