The mission of VNV is to promote responsible living and positive change in the lives of troubled and traumatized youth through a partnership with the Boys' Village Campus in Wooster, Ohio. VNV provides mentoring and positive role models for boys and young men with emotional and behavioral challenges resulting from physical, emotional, or sexual abuse. The youth are given opportunities to experience supportive adult relationships and to feel a sense of belonging and being valued. This compassionate and professional support can both reduce problem behaviors, as well as increase pro=social attitudes and skills in children who exhibit aggressive behavior, suffer from addictions, reject adult authority, have limited peer and social skills, and exhibit behaviors that cause self-harm. Improving, shaping, and transforming the lives of these boys will drive every decision made by this organization.
